BBLYHA is a volunteer-run organization. We rely on the dedication of our families to help fulfill volunteer hours throughout the season. Volunteering helps ensure the season operates smoothly and there are many opportunities that arise throughout the off and on season.

2025-2026

10 hours per family, not per player.

NEW D Mite families are required to fulfil only 5 hours

Families can opt for the $400 Buy Out

To ensure accurate records of hours completed, all volunteers will be required to proactively sign up under our "sessions" tab, sign in for their respective date/time slot, & ensure their hours are accurately reflected within their profile.

• A $50 no-show fee will be charged to those who sign up for a shift and do not complete it.
• Canceling within 72 hours will be considered a no-show and result in the fee being charged. Exigent circumstances, contact the Volunteer Coordinator.

• ALL HEAD COACHES, ASSISTANT COACHES, MANAGERS, AND BOARD MEMBERS DO NOT HAVE A REQUIREMENT FOR VOLUNEER HOURS BUT ARE ENCOURAGED TO VOLUNTEER AS NEEDED.
• ALL VOLUNTEER HOURS BETWEEN 4/1/25 AND 3/31/26 WILL BE ALLOCATED TOWARDS YOUR FAMILY'S REQUIREMENT FOR THE 25-26 HOCKEY SEASON.
• NO HOURS COMPLETED IN THAT DATE RANGE WILL GO TOWARDS THE PREVIOUS OR NEXT SEASON.
• CHILDREN 13+ ARE ABLE TO VOLUNTEER AT DISCRETION. THE SESSION WILL STATE OTHERWISE.
